The second annual Kingston Design Connection Habitat House is a unique design showhouse, providing an opportunity for junior interior designers to showcase their work publicly and get published. Monies raised benefit Kingston Design Connection and Ulster Habitat for Humanity, helping increase our capacity to deliver MORE programs and connect MORE creatives in upstate New York.

Before being sold to a homeowner, this recently-built Ulster Habitat house is turned over to junior interior designers to decorate indoor and outdoor spaces. We strive to demonstrate "accessible design” and encourage participants to furnish rooms with items from the Kingston Habitat ReStore, in addition to works from the region’s makers and artists.
The house opens to the public, providing an opportunity to showcase the work of up-and-coming designers and raise money to build more affordable homes in Ulster County.
