KINGSTON DESIGN CONNECTION and ULSTER HABITAT FOR HUMANITY 2024
Kingston Design Connection and Ulster Habitat For Humanity developed a program to connect the upstate NY design-build community to each other and potential clients; share design inspiration; and support affordable housing. Monies raised from all events benefit both nonprofits, helping increase our capacity to deliver MORE programs and connect with MORE of our communities this year. See below for our 2024 lineup.
2024 HOME IMPROVEMENT SPEAKER SERIES
SECOND ANNUAL KINGSTON DESIGN HABITAT HOUSE 2024
Before being sold to a homeowner, we turned this Habitat for Humanity newly-built home into a design showhouse. Staged by Hudson Valley designers, the design brief was to decorate the rooms with a majority of furnishings from the local Habitat ReStore.
The house was open to the public May 2024, providing an opportunity for the community to see these amazing homes and raise money to build more affordable housing.
The design showhouse and the monthly speaker series also resulted in increased sales at Habitat ReStore, a key fundraising vehicle for Habitat for Humanity.
